Hell of a track. One of the best.

[Verse 1]

Aspiration of my life
What is wrong with you
I find you jaded and so shallow
Oh you are so obtuse
Sit on your throne and seem to hate the things
That make up you
Now I'm sitting here and thinking
Oh is this all true

[Chorus 1]

Now that i'm older, is this all over
Or is it just the same old thing
I can't decide which one I like more
The old new or something in between
Respect the past while moving forward
Find a way to bridge the gap
Are you something that i'd die for
Or something that I should forget

[Verse 2]

What happened to your teachings
Filled with individualism
Yeah all that gone
Now it's only pessimism
Oh perhaps i'm worried that in some way
You would disappear from here.
Oh perhaps i'm headed to a place
Oh that I would fear

[Chorus 2]

[Guitar solo]

[Chorus 3]

DAYEATER Austin, Texas

Austin's loudest psychedelic-trio, formed at the beginning of 2014 out of desperation. Our guitar player lost his hand in a tragic 9-string guitar accident, our bass player suffers from a crippling insulin addiction and our drummer is vegetarian. Singing and songwriting comes from all three members, creating powerful soundscapes with our vocal harmonies and psychedelic riffs.
